JAILED socialite Paris Hilton was transferred from a medical ward to a detention centre to serve the rest of her sentence for violating probation in a drunken-driving case, officials said today.
Hilton, 26, was taken from the Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles to the Century Regional Detention Center in the suburb of Lynwood on Wednesday night.
Celebrity news site TMZ.com said Hilton was now in the medical wing at the detention centre.
"To describe Paris as emotionally upset would be an understatement," it quoted a law enforcement source connected with the facility as saying
